COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Totara discharged at New Plymouth yesterday and sailed in the evening for Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kaimai, with a coal cargo for Wellington, Gisborne and New Plymouth, will arrive at New Plymouth, where she is to put out 346 tons at 6 o’clock this morning. She will sail for Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.). The Holmdale is to load at Picton today for New Plymouth, via Wanganui. She is due at New Plymouth on Thursday and will sail the same day for Wellington. (Hooker Bros.). The Kaimiro is to leave Auckland today for New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth to-morrow to discharge 300 tons of coal. (U.S.S. Co.). The Karepo is to load at Wellington to-day for New Plymouth and is due to-morrow. She will sail for Auckland the same day. (U.S.S. Co.). The Hauturu is to leave Onehunga today for New Plymouth and Wanganui and is due at New Plymouth to-morrow morning. She will sail for Wanganui in the afternoon. (Northern Co.). The Opihi is to load at Dimedin tomorrow for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. She is due at New Plymouth on March 13 and will ’sail for the south the same day. (U.S.S. Co.). The Rata is due at New Plymouth from Greymouth on Thursday morning to discharge 350 tons of coal. She will sail the same day for Wellington. (Cock and Co.). MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. PORT CHALMERS COMPLETING. Good progress has been made with the loading at New Plymouth into the Port Chalmers of 10,000 freight carcases and 8800 crates of cheese, and it is expected that the vessel will complete this morning. She will sail about noon to-day for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. PORT ALMA ADVANCED. The schedule of the Port Alma having been advanced by two days, it is expected the vessel will reach New Plymouth on March 13 instead of March 15 to continue loading for English ports. At New Plymouth she will load 11,600 boxes of butter and 7900 crates of cheese, as well as a quantity of meat. She will sail for Wellington, Dunedin and Bluff to complete, clearing the last-named port on March 28. COPTIC’S LOADING. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Coptic is due at New Plymouth on March 12 to load 7000 freight carcases of meat, 5700 boxes of butter and 6000 crates of cheese. She will complete at Wanganui and Wellington. KARAMEA’S BIG CONSIGNMENT. One of the largest meat consignments for the season will be loaded by the Shaw, Savill motor-ship Karamea at New Plymouth on March 26) A total of 28,000 freight carcases will be lifted, as well as 8600 boxes of butter and 8800 crates of cheese.
