UPPER MANGOREI PICNIC

COMPETITIONS AT EAST END. The annual picnic in connection, with the Upper Mangorei school and district was held at the East End beach on Friday. There was an excellent attendance of children, parents and friends and they were fortunate that the weather was warm and the rain did not upset arrangements. The children enjoyed the fun on the beach and swings and the excellent dinner and tea provided by the ladies of the district.
