SYDNEY POLICE OLYMPIAD
COMPETING CONSTABLES RETURN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, March 5. Constables Simpson and Thompson, both of Christchurch, returned by .the Monwai to-day after competing as the only New Zealand representatives in the police Olympiad at Sydney last month. They said they received wonderful treatment from Sydney and Melbourne police officials and the New South Wales authorities . expressed the hope that there would be a New Zealand team at the next carnival.
