FOOTBALLER FOUND DEAD
GASHES IN WRISTS AND THROAT. NO SIGN OF WEAPON USED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 9. James Davis, former international footballer, was found dead in a paddock at Parkes. There were gashes on both wrists and in the throat, but there was no sign of the weapon with which the wounds were inflicted. Davis represented New South Wales against New Zealand and the Maoris in 1908-9.
