KALGOORLIE RIOT SEQUEL
SEVEN PERSONS CONVICTED SENTENCES OF IMPRISONMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10 p.m. Perth, Feb. 9. The first cases against persons arrested in connection with last week’s rioting on the goldfields were heard in the police court at Kalgoorlie to-day. SLx men and one woman were convicted, their sentences ranging from two to four months’ imprisonment. The charges included assaulting constables, disorderly conduct and theft. Several other men charged were remanded.
