ARMED MEN GUARD SILVER
£lOO,OOO TO BE SENT TO ENGLAND. COIN ARRIVES AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Febj 9. An armed police guard was on duty at the Christchurch railway station last night, when £lOO,OOO in silver was taken from the express and deposited in vans for transportation to the Bank of New Zealand vaults, where it will await shipment to the Royal Mint, London, probably by the Zealandic.
