Stratford No. 2 team travelled to Eltham to play Eltham No. 1 yesterday, but as that match was abandoned returned to Stratford, where a most enjoyable game was played against Stratford No. 1, whose match against Eltham No. 2 had also been abandoned. A special committee meeting of the' Waverey Bowling Club was held on Wednesday, Mr. J. Currie presiding. After accounts had been passed for payment a satisfactory credit balance was shown. It was decided to call for names for a visit to Wanganui on February 24. The Marton club having sent an invitation to the club, it was decided to arrange a whole-day match at Marton on March 3, enough players being available.

A letter was received from the Wanganui Bowling Centre asking for names of players desirous of participating in the match between Wanganui Centre and Manawatu Centre to be played at Palmerston North. Waverley will also be represented at the Nelson Easter tournament by at least one team. Waverley and Patea clubs are uniting to send six rinks to Waitara, taking advantage of a special train which is to run from Waverley the week-end after next.
