FIRE DESTROYS HOTEL
FORTY PEOPLE ENDANGERED.
SOME INJURED IN ESCAPING.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 9.15 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 8 Fire to-day gutted the Criterion Hotel at Moree, also four shops. Over 40 people in the hotel had nar.row escapes in their night attire. Some were injured in rushing from the premises. The damage is estimated at £12,000.
