BAYLY TRIAL INDEFINITE

THE DATE NOT YET DECIDED. POSSIBLE CHANGE OF VENUE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Feb. 6. Although a true bill has been returned by the Grand Jury which considered the double murder charge against William Alfred Bayly, no decision has been reached as to when his trial will begin. No intimation has been received by the Crown Solicitor or the court registrar as to whether the defence proposes to apply for a change of venue, or how long it will be before the preparation of the defence is completed. The case has been formally set down for hearing at the Supreme Court session which opened yesterday, but it is expected that an application will be made for a special fixture.
