COOL, IMPROVING WEATHER

INCREASING SOUTHERLY WIND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy to overcast and in many places misty. Almost general rain is probable at first. The weather will improve to-morrow from the west and south and will be cool. A moderate cyclone is centred over the Bay of Plenty while an anti-cyclone covers the western Tasman Sea. There will be south-east to southerly winds, moderate generally but increasing in and north of Cook Strait. Seas will be moderate generally but rising north of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura.
