WOMAN’S FALL INTO CRIME. PTF,A OF GUILTY ON 34 COUNTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Before Mr. H. W, Bundle, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, this afternoon Annie McDougall Smith pleaded guilty to 34 charges, including the forging and uttering of false post office withdrawal slips. She was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, bail at her own recognisance of £lOO being allowed provided she reports daily to a Salvation Army adjutant. The total sum involved was £3O 10s.
