BOYS’ GAMEENDS FATALLY
BOUND CHILD ROLLS DOWN BANK. TRAGIC ACCIDENT AT WELLINGTON By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A game of “cowboys and Indians” played by several boys at Lyall Bay on Friday resulted fatally for Laune William Dailey, aged 12. The boys were playing on a vacant piece of land. Part of the game was to tie one another up, and the boy Dailey while bound rolled down a sloping bank about 20 feet and injured his head. He was taken home by a passer-by and received medical attention, but his condition became worse and he was rushed to the Wellington hospital. An operation was performed but the boy died.
