WIN FOR NEW PLYMOUTH B. FITZROY TEAM EASILY BEATEN. The. New Plymouth Tennis Club’s B team easily defeated Fitzroy B in a noncompetition match on the Fitzroy courts. New Plymouth won by 18 sets to six. The ladies’ section of the winning team was particularly strong and won all the sets in which they took part—singles, doubles and combined doubles. Fitzroy won four of the men’s singles without difficulty and captured two decisions in the men’s doubles.
