ROWING ON WAIKATO
PRINCIPAL RACE TO AUCKLAND. EIGHT OAR TO HAMILTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. The Hamilton Rowing Club’s annual regatta was held on the Waikato River to-day in dull and showery weather. A good crowd attended. The results of the principal events were:— Senior fours and Auckland Rowing Association championship: Auckland 1, Hamilton 2, St. George 3. Also started: Tauranga. Eight-oar challenge, Somerville Shield: Hamilton (holders) 1, St. George 2.
