TARANAKI ALLOTMENTS

DAIRY PRODUCE SHIPMENTS. LARGE EXPORTS BEFORE MARCH 31. A total of 928,000 boxes of butter and 1,703,000 crates of cheese is to be landed in England or will be on the water en route by the end of March, according to the allotments released by the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board. To* carry the produce, 24 ships have been allotted. There will be a total of 23 shipments of butter and 22 of cheese, and of these seven shipments of -butter and seven of cheese totalling 64,010 boxes of butter and 43,810 crates of cheese will be made from the port of New Plymouth. Eleven shipments of cheese and four of butter from Patea will be transhipped at Wellington, the totals being 12,400 boxes of butter and 57,182 crates of cheese. The grand totals for the Taranaki ports will be 76,410 boxes of butter and 101,008 crates of cheese. Details of the shipments, with butter and cheese mentioned respectively, are as follow:—
