EXCURSION FLIGHT DELAYED
TRIP IN FAITH IN AUSTRALIA. TO BE HELD THURSDAY OR FRIDAY. The excursion flight to the Bay of Islands by the Tasman flight plane Faith in Australia, to have taken place today, will not be made until Thursday or Friday. So far eight persons have secured seats, with the likelihood of two more, for ffie flight, which will be a one-day excursion, passengers being taken over the Tung Oil Plantations at Kaikohe. Mr. C. Smythe, business manager of the Faith in Australia’s tour, will arrive at New Plymouth to-morrow to supervise final arrangements. On its return from the Bay of Island, the Faith in Australia will stay at New Plymouth for about ten days for the fitting-of tanks and the equipment necessary for the return flight across the Tasman from Blenheim. On that flight the first air mail between New Zealand and Australia will be carried, the mail closing at main post offices next Saturday.
