KING’S GIFT OF 270 BOOKS.
British Official Wireless. Rec. 7 p.m. Rugby, Jan. 27. The voluntary organisation set up to provide books for the unemployed has received a gift of 270 volumes from the King. They consist mainly of practical handbooks on gardening, trades and handicrafts.
