Earl Beauchamp has resigned the wardenship of the Cinque Ports Committee of the London Metal Exchange. He sent a letter to the Colonial Office and the Board of Trade opposing the International Tin Committee’s proposal to form a “buffer pool’’ consisting of 8000 tons valued at £1,800,000 for use to assist the control scheme by sale and re-purchase as the market price ascended or descended. -
