MR. C. H. READING, who has been appointed chairman of directors by the board of the Australian Commonwealth Bank. Mr. Reading will fill the unexpired portion of the late Sir Robert Gibson’s term of office, and thus will be chairman for the next ten months. He has been a member of the bank’s board for the last six years.
