MOB LED BY MASKED MEN. STEPS TO PREVENT REPETITIONBy Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Frankfurt (Kentucky), Jan. 25. The Legislature passed a resolution today authorising the Governor to take steps to prevent lynching, following the lynching late last night of Alex Scott, a young negro, charged with beating to death Alex Johnson, a European coal miner. Thirty odd masked men led a mob of 300 to the gaol, dragged Scott out, and hanged him.
