The Australian Jockey Club’s anniversary meeting was held at Randwick to-day in fine weather. There was a large crowd. Results are:— KURNELL HANDICAP, six furlongs: Dame Moab, 7.12 (Simpson) 1; Tom Pinch, 9.5 (Pike) 2; Some Boy, 7.3 (Knox) 3. Seven started. Length and a-half; half a length. Time, Im. IOJs., which equals the Randwick record. ADRIAN KNOX STAKES, one mile: Leila Vale, 8.5 (Bartie) 1; Air Queen, 8.5 (McCarten) 2; Headgale, 8.5 (Pratt) 3. Eight started, including Frimsel. Two and a-half lengths; four lengths. Time, lm. 375. ANNIVERSARY HANDICAP, one mile and a-quarter: Clever Fox, 8.4 (Pratt) 1; Broad Arrow, 7.1 (Britt) 2; Wicklow, 6.12 (Parsons) 3- Eleven started. Milantheon made the pace to the turn from Broad Arrow, Clever Fox, Wicklow and Satmoth. In an exciting finish up the straight Clever Fox snatched victory by half a head, with three lengths between second and third. Milantheon was fourth. Time, 2m. 305., which is a course record. HAVILAH HANDICAP (for two-year-olds), five furlongs: Sir John, 9.2 (McCarten) 1; Subsidy, 7.5 (O’Sullivan) 2; Constantine, 8.3 (Bartie) 3. Eight started. Five lengths; half a length. Time, lm. 5Js., a Randwick record.
