THE PICNIC SEASON.
The Railway Department anticipates a large increase in picnic traffic this summer if the weather proves favourable. Experienced officers of. the department are in readiness to offer advice and suggestions to the promoters of excursions. Accurate information of picnic grounds within convenient distance of towns is given in a free booklet, “Picnics by Rail.” This publication also includes tables of distances and fares.
