COMING-OF-AGE CELEBRATED.

To celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter, Mavis, Mr. and Mrs. F. Roebuck, Oka to, entertained about 80 guests at a dance in the Tataraimaka hall last Monday. Miss Gilhooly, Pungarehu, provided the music and extras were played on the bagpipes by Messrs. J. McKinnon and Watt. A Monte Carlo waltz was won. by Mr. Ray Chard and Miss N. Chard. Mrs. Roebuck wore a black frock spotted in red and Miss Mavis Roebuck a dainty red figured voile.
