OPUNAKE ITEMS
Mrs. C. A. Smith and family are spending three weeks camping at Tongaporutu. Mrs. G. C. Watson, Cambridge, is the guest of Mrs. C. H. Mar croft. Mrs. C. N. Thayer has taken up her residence in Opunake. Mrs. J. Fleming, Pungarehu, lefj on Thursday for Wellington. Mrs. A. Muller, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. E. M. Griffin for a few days. Mrs. A. J. Famell is spending a holiday in the South Island. Mrs. F. J. Tilly and Miss E. Leuthard are holiday-making at the Opunake beach. Mrs. H. Turner, Mangamingi, was a visitor to the Opunake cricket ball on Wednesday night. Mrs.' A. Heibner was hostess at an afternoon on Tuesday in honour of her mother, Mrs. Matthews, who leaves for the South Island at the end of the month.
