WOOL PRICES HARDENING

REALISATIONS AT SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10.25 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 23. The market at the Sydney wool sales to-day showed a distinct hardening tendency under very strong competition in which Japanese predominated. Greasy Merino fleece sold to 28Jd for five bales from Glen Innes and twelve from Bundarra. A total of 10,463 bales was offered and 9819 bales were sold. A further 876 bales were sold privately.
