PRIME MINISTER TO TOUR

VISIT TO NORTH ISLAND CENTRES. WAITANGI CELEBRATIONS FIRST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) stated to-day that during the next few months he intended to visit as many parts of the Dominion as possible. During the last few years he had been tied up with emergency sessions and emergency Cabinet business and it had been impossible for him to move about the country as much as he would have liked. He was glad that the time had come when he could spare more time away from Wellington. Mr. Forbes said he intended to leave Wellington on Wednesday night on a visit to Otago and Southland. He proposed to spend about ten days in those districts. On his return to Wellington he would spend a few days at headquarters and would then leave with the other members of Cabinet for Waitangi. After the celebrations he would endeavour to visit North Island centres.
