POPE’S IDEAS RECOGNISED
NATIONAL CHURCH IN GERMANY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Berlin, Jan. 14. Herr von Papen, addressing Catholic Labour supporters at Gleiwitz, declared that Nazism was in accord with the Pope’s ideas, which Germany was the first state in the world to recognise and put into practice. The attempt to create a national church need not be taken seriously.
