WEATHER STILL UNSETTLED

IMPROVEMENT EXPECTED SOON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather is still likely to be rather unsettled with scattered rains, which will be heavy in places, with some thunder, and mainly in eastern districts. The weather should improve to-morrow and become cooler. The recent depression is gradually moving away eastward from New Zealand, while an anti-cyclone is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Winds will be variagle at first on the east coast but otherwise south-westerlies to southerlies should prevail. Seas will be rather rough generally, with a considerable southerly swell.
