Madrid, Dec. 16.
The identity of the directors of the anarchist revolutionary outrages has been established by the arrest of a Saragossa gang, including Puente, editor of an anarchist newspaper, an author, a doctor and three others.
The police tracked a pretty girl to her flat at the top of a fashionable apartment house. They then entered through the roof and found documents revealing the whereabouts of the gang, who were captured as the result of a raid, with two young women, one of whom is a sister of the first girl. They are believed to be the mistresses of two of the prisoners. A search revealed documents disclosing a wide organisation covering Spain, and showing that a surprising number of wellarmed, gOod-looking young women are involved, one of whom was arrested driving a motor-car containing a hundred pistols. ' _®. The Madrid correspondent of the Daily Herald describes Senor Lerroux’s Cabinet, in which there are ten Radicals, as a distinct encouragement to Fascism. Senor Lerroux has enlisted the support of all the reactionary groups in order to secure a majority to meet the fierce opposition of the 60 Socialists. The supporters of Senor Lerroux will demand pardon for all political prisoners, enabling all the exiled supporters of past dictatorships to return to Spain, whereupon Fascism will be definitely nearer.
