MERIT OF WESTOWN ENTRIES. There was a good deal of real merit in the placed entries in the Westown school home gardens competition judged by the senior agricultural instructor, MrD. Mackay, on Saturday morning. The placings were. Flowers: Sylvia Kitchingman 77 point: Fay Turnbull 68, Betty Gredig anr Brenda Davies 54. Vegetables: Jim Church 67, Mary McQueen 74, Jack Ward 78, Bob Seldon 6f. Keith Mackenzie 77, Norman Squire 6'. Nellie Milham 90, Jack Dumbell 58, Tr Wood 64, Cliff Potts 73, Jim Ridland 7 Arthur James 72, Mick James 72.
