TOWN COUNCIL DISSOLVED
APPOINTMENT OF ADMINISTRATOR ACTION BY N.S.W. GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Sydney, Dec. 14. A sudden and unprecedented action was taken by the Government yesterday when it dissolved the Bankstown Municipal Council and appointed an administrator until a fresh election is held. The Government acted on an adverse official report, which is alleged to have revealed irregularities in tendons for a sanitary contract.
