, TOUR BY AUSTRALIAN LADIES. FIVE TO COME’TO NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 1. It was reported to the quarterly meeting of the council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association last night that the team of Australian women tennis players to visit the Dominion in December and January next would comprise Misses Lloyd (captain and manager), Bickerton, Hall, Valkenburg and Dingle. •;? The team will play in the New Zealand championships and a tour of the Dominion will be made for which the itinerary is now being arranged. As far as possible visits will be made to centres where the recent visiting men’s teams - were unable to play. In conjunction with the Auckland Association, it has been arranged to invite Sproule and Donohoe, Australian representatives, to visit New Zealand and play a series of matches in the Auckland province. They will also take part '■ in the New Zealand championships.
