NELSON BOARD'S PROHIBITION. OPPORTUNITY FOR WORKLESS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night The Nelson Education Board has given instructions to teachers that it will not ‘ sanction jheir acting as deputy returning officers or poll clerks at the Buller by-election. The chief electoral officer to-day made further representations to the board, ■ which decided unanimously, in view of over 1000 unemployed in the Buller county, many of whom were well qualified to act, not to reverse its decision. •
