BISHOP SADLIER TO RESIGN
HIS PHYSICAL INCAPACITY. TRIBUTE PAID TO HIS WORKBy Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Oct. 20. The Bishop of Nelson, Dr.. Sadlier, has given notice to the Archbishop of his impending resignation. He finds it necessary to leave New Zealand at the end of March, but has asked the Archbishop to accept his resignation as from June .30. His resignation is due to physical incapacity, as he is no longer able to do the necessary travelling. The standing committee of the Nelson diocese paid a graceful tribute to the bishop’s magnificent record in his diocese.
