RAIN IN MOST DISTRICTS
SQUALLY, CHANGEABLE WEATHER.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The weather is likely to be squally and changeable, with rain at times in most districts and possibly some thunder. Temperatures are becoming cooler. Moderate to strong west to south win<f& later veering again to north-west, are expected at most places. Seas in New Zealand waters will be moderate north of East Cape, but elsewhere rather rough to rough. In the eastern Tasman Sea moderate to strong south-west to westerly winds and rather rough seas are probable. One of the westerly depressions mentioned yesterday deepened and moved eastward rapidly last night and is now crossing to the Dominion. Another depression has already reached eastern Australia.
