terbury Cathedral, as permitted by the dean, Rev. Hewlett Johnson. The rector asks whether women would be allowed to enter Buckingham Palace thus clad. Why, he asks, are they permitted to visit the house of God in costumes forbidden in the house of an earthly King ?
