DEAD MAN RETURNS
FOR ONE DAY ONLY. The strange case of a dead man who returned to life for one day is reported from Kecskemet, in Hungary. Trivadar Forgacs, a 24-year-old shop assistant, died in a taxi on his way to tlie station at 2 o’clock in the morning. The young man had been ill for some years, and his state had become so serious that his relatives had arranged for him to enter a Budapest sanatorium. When the taxi driver took the body back to the house a wake was kept, but at 7 o’clock in the morning the young man sat Up in bed, in his grave clothes, and told his relatives quietly that he had returned to be able to say good-bye to them. Rising and dressing in his ordinary clothes, he breakfasted, repaired his bicycle, and proceeded to work as usual, He returned to his home for dinner, and then remained In the shop until closing time. In the evening, when retiring to his room, he told his relatives that he Was now going back to the place from which he had returned to them. In an hour or two a doctor was called in, and the young man was found to be dead. .
