The Siamese revolt has been broken. /" Government troops recaptured the rebel headquarters at Donmuang aerodrome, where many were killed or wounded. Troops also occupied Ayudhya and Petchaburi. Gunboats supported the troops, thus giving the lie the report that the navy had gone over to the rebels. The insurgent leader, Prince Bovaradej, who was a former Minister in London, is reported to have fled in an aeroplane.
