CROQUET AT PUKEKURA
SUCCESSFUL GALA DAY. At a very successful gala day held by the Pukekura Croquet Club yesterday there were over 70 members and visitors present, and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. Competitions were won as follows: Golf croquet, A grade, Mrs. May, B, Mrs. Eva; all-round competition, Mrs. Y. Hoskin; trail, Mrs. Rowlands. A box of sweets was won by Miss M. Snowball. Afternoon tea was served in the new pavilion.
