FIVE BRITISH DESTROYERS DEPARTURE THIS MONTH THE ITINERARY ANNOUNCED EXCHANGE OF PERSONNEL By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. London, Sept. 29. With the arrival of a further four officers and 179 ratings from Australia arrangements with regard to the destroyers for Australia are now well forward, and the following itinerary has been arranged. After their departure from the different home ports on October 17 for a rendezvous in the Channel the ships will arrive at Gibraltar on October 22, depart on October 24, visit Aden, Colombo and Singapore, and arrive at Darwin on December 8, Brisbane on December 17 and Sydney on December 21. . The crews will include 12 Royal Navy officers and 280 men who will disembark at Singapore for Far East stations, whereupon they will be replaced by a corresponding number of Royal Australian Navy officers and men, representing a considerable economy in passage money. >The five destroyers have been loaned to Australia. They are the Stuart (under the command of Captain A. G. Lilley), Vampire (Commander Howden), Waterhen (Lieutenant-Commander Rosenthal), Vendetta (Lieutenant-Comman-der Donovan), Voyager (LieutenantCommander Stewart). Captain Lilley will have command of the destroyers while they are in Australian waters.
