DECREASING .SOUTHERLY WINDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Some scattered showers are probable at first on the east coast between Cape Palliser and East Cape; otherwise the weather will be fair to fine, becoming milder to-morrow. The anti-cyclone is moving from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand, the centre being likely to cross the South Island. The pressure is falling over eastern Australia. Moderate to strong southerly winds are probable, decreasing gradually. Seas will be rough between Kaikoura and East Cape, but later decreasing; elsewhere they will be smooth to moderate.
