The Opihi left Nelson yesterday and is due at New Plymouth to-day to discharge general cargo. She will sail later in the day for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co) The Rata is due at New Plymouth from the West Coast on Monday to discharge 300 tons of coal. She is to sail the same day for Tarakohe. (Cock and Co.) The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth from Onehunga on Wednesday to discharge general cargo, and is to sail the same day for Wanganui. (Northern Co.) The Totara is to load at Dunedin on Monday and is due at New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, to discharge on October 7. (U.S.S. Co.). MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS’ SHIPS. RUAHINE LOADS. The Ruahine, which arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning from Welington, completed loading 2700 boxes of butter and 2000 crates of cheese yesterday and is to sail for Auckland to complete at 6 a.m. to-day. She is to clear Auckland for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama, on October 7. Captain G. Kinnell is in command, and his officers are: Chief, Mr. J. P. Styron; second, Mr. A. The intercolonial steamer Kalingo arrived at Wellington on Thursday and is due at New Plymouth on Monday in the course of discharge of her Australian cargo. She will sail on Monday for Westport, Greymouth and Sydney. FYFE WITH PHOSPHATES. The New Plymouth agents have been advised that the steamer Fyfe is due at New Plymouth on Monday to discharge 3800 tons of phosphates from Nauru Island. She is to proceed to Wanganui late in the week. CITY OF SINGAPORE. The City of Singapore, which left New York on August 22, is due at New Plymouth on October 11 in the course of discharge of her American cargo. She is to complete at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company expects to have a vessel loading at Adelaide about October 21 or 23, completing at Melbourne about October 26 or 27, for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Wanganui.
