AUROA DISTRICT NEWS
SOCIAL AND GENERAL. There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Auroa Anglican Guild. The Rev. C. W. Solomon, Manaia, presided. A motion of sympathy was accorded the relatives of the late Mrs. A. C. Johnstone. Afternoon tea was provided.
The Methodist Ladies’ Guild was formed at Auroa recently. Miss Hall was elected president and Mrs. J. Hooper, secretary. Preparations are being made for a fair.
The Auroa Cricket Club has had a clay pitch laid down on Mr. Josephson’s farm.
As evidence of the mild, early spring, the Joll dairy factory at Auroa has already reached last season’s highest output of 52 cheeses a day. This is 18 cheeses a day more than on September 23, 1932.
For cuts, wounds, festering sores, apply the pure Sander and Sons’ Eucalypti Extract with brush and smear vaseline lightly over. Heals promptly if Genuine Sander’s is used. Avoid so-called “Extracts” and common oils. Insist on Sanders.
