The North Taranaki Unemployment Relief Committee met at New Plymouth yesterday. Present: Messrs. J. Brown (chairman), J. W. Darby, R. W. D. Robertson, H» V. S. Griffiths, W. G. Reid and W. Thomas. A number of applications for labour for the grubbing of gorse and .noxious weeds etc. was dealt with.
