Exchange on New York is 4.72 J dollars to £l. FULL LATE RATES FOR WOOL. LONDON COMPETITION ACTIVE. London, Sept. 25. At the wool sales 10,278 bales were offered, including 7219 from New Zealand. Approximately 9360 were sold. There was active home and Continental competition at full late rates. Quotations: Greasy Merinos, New South Wales 18d, Victorian 16Jd, Western Australian 13Jd; scoured, Queensland 25Jd, New Zealand, Glenthorne, top 28d, average 26 3-8 d; New Zealand greasy crossbred, 121 d and 8 7-Bd. At Bradford, Merinos are very quiet and any change in prices favours buyers. Crossbreds are steady.
