CUBAN HURRICANE DISASTER ’ HUNDRED THOUSAND HOMELESS By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.35 p.m. Havana, Sept. 3. Incomplete reports received over disrupted communications stated that at least 100 had been killed and between 600 and 1000 injured by the hurricane in the Santa Clara and Matanzas provinces. It is estimated that at least 100,000 people are homeless. ' •
The hurricane is now threatening the eastern coast of Florida and the southern coast of Texas and Louisiana.
