Mrs. J. Collingwood, Junction -Road, who has been an inmate of the New Plymouth Hospital for some weeks, has returned home. Mrs. L. G. Lowry, Otaki, who has been spending a holiday with Mr. and Mrs. I. V. Buchanan, has returned home. Miss Nancy Evans, New Plymouth, is spending a few days with Mr. and MrsJames Dobson, Junction Road. Miss Jean Dobson, who has spent a short holiday in New Plymouth, has returned home. Miss M. K. Hewes has returned from a holiday at Eltham. Miss Sylvia Dobson is at New Plymouth for a'few days. . • Miss N. Hunt, Mangaone Road, who was a member of the Taranaki representative hockey team, has returned from Dannevirke. Mr. J. Moratti, Kaimata North Road, has grown a splendid crop of swedes, which averaged 56 tons 12cwt. per acre from twenty-five acres.
