FINAL EUCHRE PARTY. The final for the season of the fortnightly euchre parties organised by the hall committee was held on Tuesday evening. Seventeen tables were ip play. The ladies’ prizes were won by Misses M. Rusling, S. Thomas and J. McGryor, who tied with 10 games each. Mr. H. Staveley won the men’s first prize, Messrs F. Roebuck and D. Corbett tieing for the second and third prizes. Mrs. R. Knapman won the ladies’ aggregate prize and Mr. A. Julian the men’s aggregate. Messrs R. Sanger and Williams played for the dance. Mr. J. Jans was master of ceremonies. A working bee was held at the school on Wednesday to transplant trees and erect a new fence, and do several other jobs. Mrs. Levin and her daughter were of the guests of Mrs. Levin’s mother, Mrs. Smart, recently.
