JAPANESE PLAY FOOTBALL
DEFEAT BY TRAINING COLLEGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. An interesting game of Rugby was played between a team from the Japanese training ship Shintoku Maru and Teachers’ Training College to-day. Although at a big disadvantage in size and weight, the visitors displayed a good knowledge of the . game. Training College won by 21 points to 16. There was loud cheering every time the Japanese scored.
