WHO ARE THE LEGION?

(To the Editor.) Sir,—By the reports in your paper I see many names of prominent persons who were strong in their wailings about the old Tory, Reform-United, Coalition parties, and it is very amusing to see the same people taking a political somersault and landing on the Legion rail. New Zealand is crying out for a party that will work for the good of all and not a select few. Will the head of the Legion state through your columns who they are supporting at the Lyttelton byelection? It would be very interesting for the public to know. —I am, ..etc., CURIOUS. Mokoia, Aug. 31.
